Another not-so-demanding lunar month with a Grand Trine in the Fire signs. Usually, this would suggest relaxing and enjoying a tension-free time. However, with a square from Pluto Saturn to Eris Mars in Aries trine Moon/Sun/Mercury in Leo and the Moon's South Node in Sagittarius, there are old outworn beliefs to explore and release, and there is a lot of excitement and courage to draw on. The big push from Aries, now and for some years to come, is to be true to our authentic selves, while the Sagittarius South Node is asking us to listen more carefully and not make assumptions about the "truth." New Moon is the perfect time to set new intentions.

Mercury and the Sun move into Virgo on the 20th and the 23rd. Virgo season is ideal for thoughtful planning, social service, establishing healthy routines, problem-solving, and finding down to earth solutions. 'Be prepared,' the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides motto, fits with Virgo, as does founder Baden-Powell's quote: "The most worth-while thing is to try to put happiness into the lives of others." The quicksilver messenger, practical and focused in Virgo, moves into Libra on September 6, emphasizing social connection. The same day, Pallas Athene goes Direct in Capricorn, adding her wisdom to the powerful Capricorn stellium en route to Aquarius by mid-December. Venus in Leo for the next month will be hyping up our playful love quotient and our warm affection for others, especially children.
Mars, almost at the end of Aries, goes retrograde on the 10th for more meetings with Eris and Black Moon Lilith. Try to stay centred and not get hooked by intimidation or manipulation. Jupiter resumes direct movement on the 13th, auguring the return of enthusiasm for plans, possibly on hold since mid-May.
