Scorpio New Moon

In the Scorpio lunar month, relationships are emphasized. Ceres, back in Pisces until February of 2021, may incline us towards volunteer work. But no matter how we each express Ceres' energy, our feelings of empathy and compassion increase, and we can receive much pleasure from giving. The love vibes deepen and become more concentrated as Venus goes into Scorpio on November 22. Sagittarius season opens on the same day with the Sun moving into this philosophical and adventurous sign. Mercury meeting Juno on the 27th prompts meaningful and intimate discussions. When Venus and Juno entwine in Scorpio on December 15 passionate personal relationships are spotlighted with a bright flare of desire at the close of this lunar cycle.

On the 29th, Neptune direct begins resolving crises of faith for those who have been diving into the spiritual or cosmic dimensions since June. Black Moon Lilith meets Uranus in Taurus, possibly upsetting us and pushing us to change in dramatic ways. The shadow of insecurity can be healed when we stop trying to fill the void with possessions. The Full Moon Eclipse, visible in Aotearoa at 10.30 pm on November 30 invites inner stillness, acceptance of who we are, and an expanded awareness of what really matters to us. In early December, when the shadow mistress steps into Gemini, Lilith may trigger fears of disapproval and rejection, showing us areas where we compare ourselves with others or seek their approval.

Mercury moves into Sagittarius on December 2, sharpening our mental focus and attuning our ears and eyes to broader horizons. Pallas Athene holds counsel with Saturn on the 3rd, creative strategies and social responsibilities are sure to be on the agenda. On the 8th Pallas Athene moves into Aquarius, the sign she will occupy until March 2021. In the humanitarian sign of the Water Bearer, the wisdom goddess takes our creative visions and helps us shape them into something that will benefit future generations.
